Director of Strategic Development

Storytelling is in Adrienne’s DNA, as she was raised by a father in commercial real estate. As a high school student, she volunteered on the political campaign to have the American Airlines Center built for the Stars and Mavericks, because she knew it would be the anchor project to revitalize downtown Dallas. After studying journalism and political science in College, Adrienne moved to Colorado and carved out a career as a business development and marketing strategist for architects, engineers, and builders.

As the Director of Strategic Development, Adrienne deeply understands our client’s needs and builds collaborative project teams. She is experienced in starting and growing branch offices in the Colorado construction industry. She is currently serving as the chairwoman for Associated General Contractors Colorado South Committee, and the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT SO FAR?

I served for seven years on the school board for Atlas Preparatory School, an inner-city charter school that helped the most underserved kids in town successfully access a variety of pathways after high school. Adding a new feeder elementary school was part of the strategic planning process. I volunteered to be the owner’s representative to lead the school leadership through the design and construction process for the new school. This saved $130,000 that was able to be put back into the project. The team was able to successfully deliver a new school and gymnasium serving 300 students for $12,000,000. By comparison, school districts on the other side of town typically spent twice that amount to serve the same number of students.

WHAT ARE YOUR TOP FIVE FAVORITE THINGS?

Deadlifts. Bluebird ski days. Apple Watch. Jungian archetypes. Nature hikes.
