    Job responsibilities include:

    • Participate in the planning and formulation of design alternatives and solutions for major construction projects.
    • Review and interpret proposed designs and building specifications for appropriateness to required function and/or institutional standard, and initiate revisions where appropriate; advise consultants and clients as to how best to achieve required results.
    • Document meeting discussions and understandings reached and distributed to appropriate parties.
    • Issuance of contracts, purchase orders, and change orders, and approve contractor invoices for payment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare Monthly Pay Applications using AIA G702/G703 and other Accounts Receivable Invoice Forms as required by Owner Contract.
    • Ensure Subcontractor/supplier waivers of Lien are received and correct.
    • Ensure all Compliance requirements for W-9s, Insurance Certificates, EEO, and other documents are met by Subcontractors and Suppliers.
    • Prepare Sworn Statements for billings as required.
    • Assist in the follow-up on outstanding accounts receivable invoices and ensure positive cash flow for the company and its’ subcontractors/suppliers.
    • Ensure contracts and change orders are processed accurately and timely.
    • Analyze project variances and work with the project team to ensure corrective action is taken.
    • Ensure Project Files are organized and follow project document guidelines.
    • Work closely with our customers to ensure their reporting needs are met.

    • Education and experience: Candidates for the Project Accounting Specialist should have 3+ years of experience, preferably in a construction project cost environment, a bachelor's degree in accounting or business, is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
