Brandon is taking a year-long leave of absence from O‑A‑K to serve in the military; and we want to say thank you for your service! We will all miss you while you're away on leave.
Brandon's Story:
I have always wanted to serve my country, and I got my chance by attending college at Michigan Technological University on a full ride Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) scholarship. As a part of that commitment, I was obligated to four years of Active, or eight years National Guard duty upon graduation and commission as an officer. After two summers working for O‑A‑K, I knew I wanted to start my civilian career. Once I competed and was selected for a flight seat, I knew I could fulfill two dreams at once. I’m currently on active duty orders, where I’ll continue my training as a helicopter pilot. After graduating flight school, I’ll be headed back to Michigan to continue bugging Jeremy about diversifying O‑A‑K’s resume by letting me set rooftop units with a helicopter! I could really use as much help as I can get in this campaign… 😊
