Eastown Veterinary Clinic staff, customers, construction partners, and community members gathered Wednesday afternoon to celebrate the groundbreaking of the clinic’s two-story addition located at 1350 Lake Dr SE in Grand Rapids. The 5,340 square foot addition and renovation to the existing facility will create separate dog and cat entrances, increase capacity for dental and surgical procedures and provide additional training space for staff.
“As we’ve grown, the need for additional space has become increasingly apparent. This facility was designed to incorporate modern best practices for veterinary care, and more than doubles our capacity to serve animals. We’re excited about the opportunity to provide additional services, see more patients, and provide a better training environment for our team, all while remaining in the Eastown community,” said Dr. Lynn Happel, owner.
The facility will remain operational during the addition with the project scheduled for completion in the summer of 2018.
