Bond Summary:
The $50 million bond program at Fruitport Community Schools was passed by local voters in 2017. O‑A‑K worked closely with the district to develop the bond program and provide preconstruction services. We are currently overseeing all construction projects.
High School Transformation:
The majority of bond dollars are dedicated to construction that will replace the 1950s portion of the high school, which accounts for about 75-80 percent of the current structure. I actually graduated from Fruitport in 1992, so getting the opportunity to come back and improve something that helped create me is a pretty neat thing.
