(KALAMAZOO, MI) - Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. (O-A-K), local professional construction firm, announces they've been hired as Construction Manager for Kalamazoo College's new Fitness and Wellness Center project. The new 30,000-square-foot, two-story facility is currently under design.
As Construction Manager, O-A-K is working closely with TMP Architecture and the college team to establish project scope, review constructability and value engineering options, and keep the project design within the anticipated $8 million budget.
Tom Stanek, O-A-K's Director of Kalamazoo Operations, and Principal-in-Charge for this project "couldn't be happier" to have the chance to work with K College for the first time since coming to O-A-K in 2013.
"We're thrilled to be part of this project team in our local community," shared Stanek.
O-A-K looks forward to breaking ground this fall.
