For the past five years, the Kalamazoo Humane Society has been raising funds for a larger facility. Recently, they celebrated the official groundbreaking for their new site. The 11,000 square-foot facility will expand capacity to provide much-needed care to animals in Kalamazoo and surrounding counties. When finished, the $5 million facility will include clinical spaces for advanced treatments, exam rooms, and a crematory.
This groundbreaking allows the community to see this project and acknowledge the donors who have made it possible.
