(GRAND RAPIDS, MI) – Landmark Aviation employees and project partners gathered Tuesday to celebrate the ground breaking of a new Fixed Base Operations (FBO) terminal facility. Construction of the 23,750 square foot facility will commence immediately, and the facility is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2016.
The new development, located on a 16.8 acre site at Gerald R. Ford International Airport, includes an 18,750 square foot hangar constructed of pre-engineered steel with an adjacent 5,000 square foot office space. In addition, the facility will be built using eco-friendly materials and will include a two-story atrium area that features natural lighting.
