Owen‑Ames‑Kimball Company (O‑A‑K), a premier general contractor with a longstanding presence in Southwest Florida, has announced the appointment of Jane Gaia as a project manager in the company’s Fort Myers office.
Gaia is currently working as project manager on The Heights Early Learning & Education Center, the major addition to Gateway Trinity Lutheran Church, as well as projects for Fort Myers Broadcasting and the Institute for Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine.
Gaia has nearly 20 years of experience in project management and architecture. She has supervised a wide variety of commercial projects from start to occupancy including government, religious and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). She has served as project architect for commercial, retail, residential developments, health care and government buildings. She most recently served as a project manager at the Diocese of Venice where she oversaw projects in ten counties and managed Hurricane Irma repairs for 52 damaged properties.
Gaia holds her bachelor of science in Architecture from Kent State University in Ohio.
