O-A-K Florida Superintendent Matt Hoffman was Project Manager on a large job at Immokalee Regional Airport. The site had major water intrustion & cracking on its two main highways. Outdated lighting systems that had been in use since 1966 and were deteriorated beyond repair. Another major obstical was separating the two current runways by 450 feet so that Immokalee Regional Airport could receive state and federal funding for this project. Not only were they able to do that, by shutting down the airport at night, but they also extended one of the runways by 450 feet bringing the runway length to 5,000 total feet. The project began 12-30-13 and ended 12-19-14. It was completed on time and 47,000$ dollars under budget.
