(GRAND RAPIDS, MI) – Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. (O-A-K), local professional construction firm, announces the addition of Mike Hoeksema to their Kalamazoo office, and Shawn Schrotenboer and Hugh Maclachlan in Grand Rapids.
Mike Hoeksema, Project Superintendent in Kalamazoo, brings 21 years of construction experience including owning and operating his own construction company, Mike Hoeksema Construction LLC, since 2005. His decision to join O-A-K was based on the company’s longstanding reputation as a leader in the construction industry and the opportunity to oversee significant projects within the Southwest Michigan community. He is a licensed residential builder in the State of Michigan.
Hugh MacLachlan, Project Superintendent in Grand Rapids, holds his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Ferris State University, and brings expert-level constructability knowledge with 30 years of commercial construction experience. He has worked in both the United States and abroad, with a background in carpentry.
Shawn Schrotenboer, Architectural Technician, is a graduate of Grand Rapids Community College and brings a diverse background of experience with architectural drafting and electrical systems. His responsibilities include assisting our Staff Architect with conceptual and construction documents for a variety of project types.
