Recap from previous Ottawa County Road Commission video:
Ottawa County Road Commission's new Coopersville Maintenance Complex houses three new buildings. Under construction in 2020, the current project includes a new 49,000 square-foot vehicle maintenance facility and a 9,500 square-foot equipment storage building. The third building, a salt storage shed, was previously built in 2017. Completing the project in 2020 is a top priority for Ottawa County. To expedite the construction schedule, our team offered a streamlined Design-Build project delivery, and selected a precast concrete structure, which considerably reduced the length of the erection sequence.
We went back onsite to capture the end of this project. In this video Tim Marcus, O‑A‑K Senior Project Manager, along with Ryan Kemppainen, Operations Superintendent for Ottawa County Road Commission, lead us through the innovation project as construction comes to an end.
We've been working with O‑A‑K for a couple years on this and it's coming to an end and it has been a wonderful experience.
