Owen‑Ames‑Kimball Company (O‑A‑K), a construction contracting and management company, celebrated the completion of construction with the grand opening of a 6,240 square-foot LaBelle Municipal Airport Terminal located in LaBelle.
O‑A‑K shared the celebration with Hendry County officials, airport management and AECOM, engineering firm from Tampa, FL, responsible for the project design. Catering was provided by Short Cakes, from LaBelle, who will be the first terminal tenant, providing food and beverages.
Located at 307 East Cowboy Way in LaBelle, the new municipal airport terminal consists of Airport Management and Operations area, pilot lounge and flight planning area, conference room, restaurant and kitchen.
O‑A‑K’s team for the project was led by Scott Reynolds as job site superintendent, Randy Kapellusch as project manager, Matthew Zwack as general superintendent/chief safety officer, Shan Gaar as chief estimator, and Dave Dale as principal in charge.
