Owen-Ames-Kimball Company (O-A-K), a Fort Myers-based construction contracting and management company, has welcomed three new student interns from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), Alex Broger, Faleesha Fernandez and Jared Hardey. Broger, Fernandez and Hardey will work with the O-A-K team to gain first-hand experience into the field of construction contracting and management, developing the knowledge and skills that will help the students prepare for success in future careers within the industry.
From Houston, Texas, Broger is a junior at FGCU, currently studying civil engineering. Following his graduation in spring 2018, B [Alex Broger] roger aspires to earn his master’s degree in engineering and eventually become an independent contractor.
A Naples native, Faleesha Fernandez is a civil and environmental engineering student at FGCU. Currently in her senior year, Fernandez anticipates entering the field of construction management and project management following her graduation in spring 2017.
Originally from Melbourne, Florida, Hardey is a senior at FGCU. He is currently studying to obtain his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and will graduate in summer 2017. Following graduation, Hardey anticipates entering into the field of construction and project management. [Jared Hardey]
