Owen‑Ames‑Kimball Company (O‑A‑K), a preeminent general contractor with a longstanding presence in Southwest Florida, has announced the hiring of Edwin Clawson as project manager.
Clawson started his career as an architectural draftsman of construction documents and assisted and configured codes and permitting processes for multiple projects. From there, he moved into leading teams for new construction projects and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, civil, and Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. Clawson has worked on projects across the United States and lead architectural project teams that produced drawings in a Malaysia office for projects in the United States. He graduated from Collin College in Plano, Texas, with an Associate of Arts degree.

Clawson is currently managing the 28,500 S.F. Naples Airport General Aviation Terminal Improvements and multiple projects for the Collier County Public Schools under the continuing contracts program.
