Owen‑Ames‑Kimball Company (O‑A‑K), a preeminent general contractor with a longstanding presence in Southwest Florida, has announced the hiring of Pablo Ferreira as Estimator.
Ferreira started his career in project management and estimating for both commercial and residential projects with experience as a lead carpenter, assistant field manager, and logistics coordinator. His multi-capacity expertise led him to an assistant project manager and estimator position, where Ferreira managed projects for the top four hospitals and three top universities in the Boston area. After moving to Southwest Florida, he has concentrated on his estimating, budgeting, and preconstruction skills for commercial projects.
Ferreira has earned his auto computer-aided design (AutoCAD) specialist certificate and his certificate in construction management. In addition, he recently earned his Associate in Science in Architectural Design and Construction Technology at Florida SouthWestern State College. He is on track to graduate with a computer science certificate from Harvard University by the end of the year and plans to continue his education at Florida Gulf Coast University.
