Owen‑Ames‑Kimball Florida Promotes Alesha Watchowski to Director of Operations

Owen‑Ames‑Kimball Company (O‑A‑K), a preeminent general contractor with a longstanding presence in Southwest Florida, has promoted Alesha Watchowski to Director of Operations.

"Alesha is known for her client-first approach, her tenacity, and for creating efficient processes that benefit O‑A‑K's clientele," said Matthew Zwack, president of O‑A‑K Florida. "She is a results-driven leader skilled in completing projects on time and within budget while meeting our quality standards. Alesha's commitment to providing exceptional service and operational excellence on our projects is a great asset to our growing company."

In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of O‑A‑K's diverse projects, Watchowski is responsible for coordinating training and procedural processes for the company. She joined O‑A‑K in 2014 as a project manager assistant and was promoted to project manager in 2017. In 2022, she was named senior project manager.

While at O‑A‑K, she has been responsible for high-profile projects for the School District of Lee County, including the $46 million Amanecer Elementary School in Lehigh Acres, the new $34 million Lehigh Acres Middle School, and the $6 million Fort Myers High School HVAC renovations. Other projects include The Fort Myers Broadcasting Company newsroom remodeling, parking lot expansion, and Rasmussen University interior renovation.

Watchowski graduated cum laude twice from Ferris State University, earning an Associate of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. She is a proud Sigma Lambda Chi International Construction Honors Society member. She also serves on The Heights Foundation/The Heights Center's board of directors. In addition, Watchowski was honored as a recipient of Gulfshore Business magazine's 2021 40 Under 40. She is an O‑A‑K shareholder.
