Why did you choose the construction industry?

I had 4 jobs when I was going to college full time and was getting burned out. It was time for change. I found a job listing for a local excavator in the Davenport Job Placement Office, needless to say I became a partner there where I worked for 17 years before coming to OAK.

What is your hidden talent?

I enjoy helping others. I will pitch in wherever I’m needed. I actually ran a bulldozer for a full day to keep trucks going at my old job. I had a few occasions where I helped out in the field due to being short on employees.

What do you do in your free time?

I enjoy spending time with my kids. I love being outside, especially by water. I also enjoy crafts and target shooting.
