In 2018, O‑A‑K was hired to oversee ongoing renovations and infrastructure improvements as part of a Master Service Agreement with Gerald R. Ford International Airport. The agreement provides an efficient method of construction delivery for small-to-medium sized renovations, as the airport positions themselves for continued growth.

Completed in March 2020, this multi-phase office renovation included the relocation of the airport police station and security badging office, as well as the renovation and addition of several airport conference rooms.

The first phase of the project created a new reception and waiting area for police and badging activities while seamlessly incorporating an upgraded security system and bullet resistant construction materials. In addition, the scope included private offices for police chief and head security director, semi-private offices for sergeants, a break-room, kitchenette and armory were all included in the space.

The second phase of the project replaced three existing conference rooms with five larger state-of-the art conference rooms for use by all airport departments, as well as the renovation of the operations staff break room.
