- Cade Dammen and Jacob Scholma complete a weekly routine safety inspection on site at Grandville Middle School.
- Rob Gulliver holds a safety pre-planning meeting with every member of our project team, prior to site mobilization.
- O‑A‑K Senior Superintendent, Rocky Oster, hosts an intern lunch and learn session, including a project tour focused on site safety.
- Our on-site team at Frederik Meijer Gardens hosts a safety tour with the American Subcontractors Association of Michigan (ASAM).
- O‑A‑K Annual Aerial Lift Training is mandatory for all field staff.
- Alyson Lloyd, Project Superintendent, builds temporary safety guards on an active construction site.
MANAGEMENT APPROACH
Our on-site leaders are empowered with a high level of decision-making authority. They don’t need permission to manage their projects safely. This translates to a personal sense of responsibility and added commitment from the people on site every day.
