When did you realize this was the industry for you?

My first project was a fast paced, multi-phased project at the Marco Marriott. I was rather green and it was quite overwhelming, but even then I couldn’t get enough of the action in watching something being created from plan to reality. I loved the process and knew fairly quickly that the industry was worth a long term investment of my time.

What have you learned while working at O‑A‑K?

I have learned that the construction industry is very challenging. There are so many variables that can make a project a success or failure. Paying close attention to all of those variables are key to delivering a constant high level of service and completing projects that exceed our clients expectations. I have also learned that O‑A‑K is a great place to work and is very rewarding from a career perspective.

What do you do in your free time?

Spend time with my wife, 3 boys, and our dog swimming, playing outside, and of course rough housing. I also enjoy watching Gator Football and hitting some golf balls when I get a free moment. Getting in some light reading before bed is some nice quiet time.

At the end of the day, we’re just out to do the best job that we can for the client, and as long as we’re on top of things and address things very quickly, things will naturally fall into place on the other side.
